Joels and Mommys Safeway Adventure

So the other night i took my boys to Safeway's to get a quick dinner. David was working late. I had it in my mind we where going to get in and out *L* Well this was the biggest misunderstanding *L*

We went into the store, started getting what we needed. Joel gos "I have to go pee". I stop what I was doing. I took him to the restroom that was located at the back of the store.(we always use this restroom cause its like a family restroom) Soon as we got there he gos,"NO I DON'T WANNA GO PEE". He was yelling ! I tried to kost him into going. But, it did not working. So,I gave up and went back to shopping.

Soon after,we get all the items we need and We make it up to the check out. I put all my grocery's on the belt going up to the cashier. Joel gos "Mommy i have to go pee!". I looked at the cashier told him "We will be right back and those are my grocery's. My son has to go potty." Then I turned around, Joel had ran all the way down to the end of the store crying "I gotta go peee, I gotta go peee.." He was whining and real tears.. I was still back at the check out. I turn the cart around. ( Isaac sitting in the child seat part of the cart.) I jogging down, pushing Isaac in the cart, trying to catch up with Joel... There where people in my way .I finally start saying loudly "EXCUSES me, mommy coming through!" You can hear people as i pass them asking if that's my son.

Then we finally make it to the back of the store and to the bathroom. (THANK GOD there was no one in the one stall restroom.) He makes it in there and gos pee and hes like "Look mommy i did it" I was like Just- Breath! lol

Next we walk out the bathroom after getting his pants back one. People are looking at us.The Joel decides he is going run to the front of the store. I go walking fast and jogging after him again. One lady is asking me if he is okay, im like i dont know! LOL He Finally stops at the candy stand and asks "Mommy can i have a candy" aaaah!

I was so frustrated at this point. I picked him up stuck him in the basket and when to get my grocery's. When i got there the guy who had my grocery gos, "I'm closed, you have to go over to that lady". I go over to that lady, the lady gos, "I'm closed, go to the customer service counter"..(I'm about to blow a fuse at this point!) So,why standing there i turn and looked at the guy who had my grocery's and told him what she said and well then they talked and i was able to go pay at the normal line and get out..(THANK GOD!)

By the time i made it to the truck, i was so frustrated, tried and part of me was humiliated. I called my David and said "COme Home now!"And when David made it home, he was my super hero! *smiles*

This will be one of those story's I'm going to tell Joels girlfriends when he gets older LOL

Valintines Day

I have never been really big on Valentine's day. I have often felt like its just another day stores market candy and toys and flowers and try make money off us and talk us into buying stuff we don't need.

BUT as a mom now i have learned the Holidays are what you make of them :)

So on the 14Th we just hung out at home :) I made Davids lunch the night before and sneaked a card in his lunch bag. Which he called later on saying "Thank you!"

Then, I made the boys mini cup cakes, They are the size of a quarter. So cute and yummy. I think i made 3 dozen and ate 6-7 of them lol. The boys loved them. Joel comment how he liked the pink frosting and said "Mommy pink is your favorite color." LOL

After we had cup cakes the boys made Valentine Day cards for Dad. Joel kept asking if it was someone birthday *L* I tried my best to explain today was love day and on Valentines day we try to remind your family and Friends we love them. He said "OH"....But i was sure if he got it.

Isaac did a really great job coloring in his card. He is getting really good at using color crayons. He loves making scribbles and babbling why he dose it *L*

Joel can almost write out his name.. he gets J-O- and sometimes need help with the E but always needs help with the L. Hes to did really good at his card and is getting so big!

Then on the 15Th, David decided to surprise me with flowers and candy.. It was really sweet cause we talk about not buying each other stuff. So when David brought them over to me I was already like "awww". Then David gave me a kiss and Joel was standing next to us, Joel looks up and Joel says "Mommy, we love you. Happy Valentines day!" It melted my heart and at that moment i got all the warm mommy fuzz's *L* Then, i knew he got it. He understood what mommy was trying to teach him :)

After the kids where in bed that night, DAVID COOKED FOR ME! LOL He doesn't do this fokes. He made Chocolate fondue and had fresh strawberries and wine... I'm convinced he been holding out on me *L* Na, just kidding. But it was really sweet and tasted good to. And i learned i could let my hubby in my kitchen. hehehe

Nov. to Now

So allot has happened since i last posted.. I know! I haven't been keeping up.. but here we go

Dec- Joel turned 3. We had a really good Christmas. We never made it to my parents house. The pass was covert in snow. But started off the new year well, all healthy and safe!

Jan.- I made a commitment to my self. I want to lose 50 pounds before i turn 30. So far i have lost 18 of those pounds. :) And my weeks are consisted of 3 gym days, 1 play date and 1 day just taking care of things at home. This is all going to change thou. Because in Fall Joel starts real preschool. (We been shopping for one and we think we found one.) and I am also going back to college, I am going to be taking one night class or one class online. I am going keep doing this tell the boys are in school full time. Once they are in school full time I am going to go full time. And hopefully before 6 grade i will have a job and will not need my Microsoft sugar daddy .LOL

Our pet Family

Living with three dogs most days can be a challenge. Our oldest dog is Princess she is about 10 years old. The there is Hannah she is about 6 or 7years. And our newest Benny he will be a year April 2011.

Princess love to sleep or run. She is a really good old dog.

Hannah loves ball. She can play for hours.

Benny *L* He is something else. He snorts, and is all puppy. He reminds me of a baby bear.

But there our family and his is there home. If i ever need a hug or someone to cuddle with, all three would climb in my lap at once. And they way t hey look at you when you been gone. Its all worth it.

But i read a few post, ad's and see other dogs with no homes. Its really got me thinking. I think personally that if you bring a dog home and call them your own, you are making a life commitment. We domesticated these animals, and took them out the wild and bread the. We shouldn't abandon them. There is never a bad dog. But a miss lead dog.(like a student) If your dog is having problems, its your job to find them help. (doctor, dog training, kennel, food, warmth and love)They are family. When times are hard, you don't give up on family. I know it sucks when you come home and there is a puppy mess of some sort or your dog has gotten out the fence and people called left messages on your phone. (all this has happened)

But in less your pet family is in danger or hurting you or them self's or old age. Think twice before bringing them home. They are just as alive as you and me!!

This is my family. 2 Adults, 2 kids, 3 dogs and 1 cat and 1 Oscar fish.

Busy Isaac!!

Okay, I can say this. Im aloud to. I'm his mother... Isaac is a goober. He climbs on the Dinning room table. He is into everything . He bite, hits, pinches and scream when he dont get his way. He has me running from sun up to sun down ...I love him. BUT HE IS A HAM!! *L*

One thing i have noticed lately ...is he has been getting better. Since his brother went to Preschool,(which gives me more time to spend with Isaac) he has been bring me things that i ask for. He used run with them . But now, he listening alot more. I think having the extra time to spend with Isaac is helping.

I really do love the extra time i get to spend with him. I think its the best for all of us. But i hope this faze gos fast of not getting his way go's away fast. *L* Or i might need more naps. HAHAHA

Joel started Preschool

(Joel's 2ND day of school. His daddy took him. He is excited)

We been throwing around the idea for a while about putting Joel into Preschool. But because of his age they have him starting school the oldest of his class. So we decided to put him into Per preschool. So far he loves it. This week was his second week. His teacher said he is doing great. I think its good for him. Its helping to grow and teach him more. I think the hardest part is getting him there and dropping him off and knowing i will not see him for 2+ hours *L* But he is my first. I will get over it. I'm happy for him. Also im glad that he likes school.

Halloween Night

Our Halloween night was a good one. We have never been to big on the Halloween. But having childern makes you do things you have never really been into!

We took the boys to Trick or Turcks again this year. They loved it! Isaac had a much better time this year then last. Last year he cryed when the huge trucks blew there horns. This year he wanted to drive.
