Halloween cards from Me-Me & Papa

JOEL

He really liked opening his card. He didn't care about the money at first. He didn't think much of it. Then i explained to him he can get a candy or a car he was like okay maybe this is good paper.
ISAAC

Isaac went straight for the money. He didn't know what it was but he thought it was way cool. I let him carry around his dollar, intell he tryed eating it *L*
I promised them i would take them to Walmart and let them pick out a car or a candy. =)
THANK YOU MEE-ME AND PAPA!!

Playing'N'Fall

Fall is one of my favorite times of year. Its never to hot. You get these nice cool sunny afternoons. It makes for great times to play outside.

If you where to ask Isaac about being out side, he totally agrees. He has gotten so busy and independent. If you let him out side, he is gone *L* In this photo you can see me going. He loved being at the park.

Isaac even figured out how to go up and down the slide. (but backwards *L*)
Joel was busy to. He has been pushing limits with him self. For a kid who is scared to go down our front steps cause he thinks its high up *L* He sure isn't afraid to climb this thingies by him self *L*

When we were at the park, we were there to meet up with our play group. Joel and a few other of his friends found some leafs to play in. The leafs our great to play in the fall.

I like this moment the most when Joel learned you can through the leafs over your head and they fall back down again.

Rainy Day at The Pumpkin Patch

This 2nd weekend of the month, we took the boys to pick pumpkins. It was wet and rainning. But we didn't mind. We pulled out the boys old shoes, and put on hoods and was ready toget wet.

The pumpkin patch was in better shape then we thought. They brought in wood chips and made the path ways. It was really nice. It made it easyer to get around.

Here is Joel, giving pumpkin hugs. He was showing us the pumpkin he found and was trying to pick it up.
After a while he gave up on picking up the pumpkins and put his constrastion twards pulling the wagon. Belive it or not, he actully go this wagon going. He pulled it really far intell we added a pumpkin and he need help =)
The boys really like running around. It was fun watching them go and check everything out.

We even sat for a few photos.
Isaac loved getting dirty. He ran all over. He sat in the dirt. He layed in the dirt, smack a few pumpkins and chose a few.
The first pumpkins Joel seen getting there.
The first pumpkins Isaac has seen and gotta play in.

Here is a picture of our final pumpkins.. Isaac and I did the kitty and Joel and Dad did the happy face.

Walk for Hope 2010

This is my very first 5k. I have been wanting to walk a 5K for a really long time. But I never felt that i would be able to. An 5K is 3.1 miles. We walked it in a crowd of people in one hour and nine minutes. It wasn't a bad time. I hope next 5K we do, we can be at the front of the line so we can walk faster. =)

See i took a photo to prove it *L* There were so many people there that it took us 3 minutes to get out of the starting line *L*

Before the walk, we just spent time hanging out on the grass. There is a photo of Joel and David playing.

This is my new friend Patty and her daughter Hazel. Patty and Hazel walked with us. Patty is awesome and lots of fun to be around.

This was us before the walk. I love this family photo.

Here we are kicking some butt. Putting down the foot to the paved way.

This is David and Isaac. On the way back Isaac wanted out. So, his daddy (being the awesome dad he is) took him for a shoulder ride. He loved it.
Our next 5K is going be in December 2010. Its called Jiggle Bells. Wish us luck.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This walk meant a lot to me in different ways.
First, this walk made me think of my grandma and my cousin and a friend/acquaintance who has died/or had cancer. I thought of you all on this day. I was glad and happy that i could walk on this day to raise money for cancer and perhaps make a little change in this world for anyone who has had or has cancer.
Second, this is a major health milestone for me. Because, over a year ago there was no way in hell you see my ass walking 3.1 miles *hahahahaha*
Third, I like to thank my loving and supportive husband for helping me get there. I also like to thank my family and friends for your support also. Especially, Starr Date and Chris Date. Starr without you, i don't think i would ever made it to the gym for that 1st time. Also, Thank you Patty for walking with me and your encouragement that we can do this. Last, like to thank my boys. (Joel and Isaac) For giving me such a wonderful reason to push my self that much further!!

2nd Trip to the Dentist Ever!

The last week of September 2010
About 6 Month ago was there very 1st trip to the dentist. So this was the 2nd time ever they have gone to the dentist. I am proud to say "BOTH, our boys where cavity free."

Isaac
Mommy (me) got to help Isaac. I didn't hold them the first time cause i was to worried about being the bad guy *L* But i help Isaac and we made it throw it. ;)

He did need some costing to get him mouth open. But we got it all in there... He had his teeth painted with florid for the first time. He was licking his teeth and lips all the way home. *smiles*
Joel

Joel did all right. He was squirmy until the started.

But his daddy held his hands all the way through it. But even before he started he was more interested in the prices and stickers *L* He reminders where they where from last time. It always surprises me when a kid remembers where something is at, from a really long time ago *L*

Apple Art

In our Moms group, one of the playday dates was Apple Art. To make Apple Art, you cut the apples in to peices and the kids would dip them into paint and stamp there paper.
Joel and I started this one. He finished it. At first the boys seen the apples and where more intrested in eatting the apples then painting with them *smiles*

But, after Joel got the idea of Apple Art, it was hard to get him to make finish the one we started. So he did this one on his own. =) If you look closely at the brown and green spots in the left, top corner of the painting, your can see where he made a thumb print tree. =)

Isaac even did one on his own. I was so proud of him. Isaac has never done a craft project before on his own. He did really good and seem to have fun doing it. =) (Isaac is getting so big)

A Big Boy Bed for Isaac!

In September 2010 Isaac took one more step forward to turning into a big boy. Even thou his mommy didn't like it to much. (Isaac is getting old.) He is way to tall to be sleeping in a crib. So Mommy and Daddy decided to do the big switch from a crib to a big boy bed.
Isaac has been in his bed for a month now. He loves his bed. He picked out the Mickey Mouse bed set. We haven't had any problems getting him to sleep. He has gotten out of his bed twice. But his bedroom door was close, so he didn't get to far. But,He still isn't sure how to get down.
Over all, we are proud of him and his mommy is happy he has room to stretch out.
