My Pretty Pretty Princess

When i was 20, my mother brought me home a dog. I told her i didn't need a dog. She insisted on it. I'm a softy when it comes to animals. So i let the dog stay.

We named her princess. She is a black dog, 4 white paws, and a white tipped tail. Her ears stood up when she was listening. My best guess was she was part black lab and australion shepard.

We became the best of best friends. Anytime i had to go anywhere princess always went. She stay the night at friends houses with me.She went to drinking partys with me. She even went to work with me at subway.

We always went on road trips.I can remember one year we went to Ozzy Feast 2000. *L* I found my dog running around the gorge. I ended up leaving early cause i could not keep her in the car *L* It was to bloody hot. So we stayed for our favorite bands and left. *smiles*

Once when i lived on my own, my back porch was covert with cats. I don't know where they all came from, but heaps of cats used to hang out on my porch.. I tell princess "Seeee the keeey keey's", Her ears stood up. "Princess do you wanna get the Keeey Keeeys?" She be wagging. Then i go over to the siding glass door and she bolt right out after the 6 to 10 cats that where hanging out on my back porch. You see them all scatter. She never hurt them. But it was the funniest thing to see her perk right up and chase after them.

Then, one night i was sitting in a parking lot, waiting on a freind. My freind thought it be funny if he ran over and jumped in the back seat next to Princess and try to scare the crap out me. Needless to say He was the one who got the crap scared out him. He open the door jumped in and Princess start barking and bareing her teeth at him and just as quick as he jumped in the car, he jumped right back out... hahaha

Princess used to sleep on one side of my bed. She be all curled up in the blackest. I can remember when David moved in Princess was mad at me for a week cause she go kicked out her spot *L* After that she sleep right next to me, on the floor, on my side the bed.

At Christmas time we try to always get the dogs something. She loves it when you get her one of those huge bones that still have dried meat one it. If you where to give her a ball, she look at you like your nuts and was saying "I'm not chasing no dam ball"! *L*

Then after David and i where married for 5 years we brought home a baby (Joel).. She walked over smelt Joel and sat down next to him. When Joel began to cry cause he was hungry, Princess ears stood straight up. Like whats wrong with him mom? She wanted to make Joel better.

Then when it was Isaac turn to come home. It was the funniest thing, I set Isaac on the floor next to her. She smelt him, and took a deep breath and blow out her nose. LOL She wanted nothing to do with another baby *L*

Princess is really is womens best freind. And this year I'm turning 30. She is 11 to 12 years old. She turly is a good dog. But with ever bone in my body, I'm sad and sorry to say that we had to put her down. She just gotten to old. Princess would shake, pant, paces really bad from her anxiety. She bolt out the front door sometimes and not come back for hours. She started get snappy at the other dogs and started acting like a puppy, even though she is 12 years old. I think she losing her self some days.

Then yesterday, Isaac was loving on her like he ways dose. She turned and snapped at him right in the face/nose. His nose has like 8 scratch marks with a bit hole a 1/4 inch away from his eye. She very easy could have token out his eye. I really don't think she might to hurt Isaac. But i think with her being so unstable (the shaking, taking off, being old and snapping at the other dogs) she lost her cool. I really don't know what her next reactions to things where going be.

The decision of putting her down was one of my top 10 hardest. I still haven't stop crying. I know its still soon. But i really do love her. We try thinking other things to do for her. But i truly believe couldn't protect her any more.

I thought about a new home for her.But, her anxiety is way to high of a level to try to re-home her. I didn't wanna give her tranquilizer and have her laying around like a log. I thought that be worse then the desion we made. And for my sons, i didn't want to take the risk of a bit happening again.

So regardless how much it pains me to admit, she is gone. I really do hope some day i will see her again!! She will truly be missed...

Princess- I love you! Your a good mookie! I will see you later! I hope your having fun chase squirels and keeys way up there....

Snow in February

Joel loves the snow.. he always asks "Can i go out side?".. He also loves make snow balls. He loves snow balls so much, you can see him putting a snow ball on the neighbor girls head *L*

Isaac is never to sure about the snow. When we first went out to play, he wanted to go back in. Then, he took a hand full of snow and ate it . After a mouth full of snow, he was good to go for few more minutes *L*

Happy Birthday David

David had a great birthday.

Monday-We took him to Red Lobster.
Tuesday-He got mixers to make White Russians.
Wednesday-He got to choose what he wanted me to make for dinner on his actual birthday and got cake :)

Name!

Today Joel wrote his name all by him self!! This is the first time he has been able to put all the letters together by him self! *proud mommy* The only letter he needed help with was the E. He knew what it was, but he looked at me asking if it was right. :)

I'm so happy for him, and he is getting so big!!

Joels and Mommys Safeway Adventure

So the other night i took my boys to Safeway's to get a quick dinner. David was working late. I had it in my mind we where going to get in and out *L* Well this was the biggest misunderstanding *L*

We went into the store, started getting what we needed. Joel gos "I have to go pee". I stop what I was doing. I took him to the restroom that was located at the back of the store.(we always use this restroom cause its like a family restroom) Soon as we got there he gos,"NO I DON'T WANNA GO PEE". He was yelling ! I tried to kost him into going. But, it did not working. So,I gave up and went back to shopping.

Soon after,we get all the items we need and We make it up to the check out. I put all my grocery's on the belt going up to the cashier. Joel gos "Mommy i have to go pee!". I looked at the cashier told him "We will be right back and those are my grocery's. My son has to go potty." Then I turned around, Joel had ran all the way down to the end of the store crying "I gotta go peee, I gotta go peee.." He was whining and real tears.. I was still back at the check out. I turn the cart around. ( Isaac sitting in the child seat part of the cart.) I jogging down, pushing Isaac in the cart, trying to catch up with Joel... There where people in my way .I finally start saying loudly "EXCUSES me, mommy coming through!" You can hear people as i pass them asking if that's my son.

(Joel was a hole 10 feet ahead me the hole time)

Then we finally make it to the back of the store and to the bathroom. (THANK GOD there was no one in the one stall restroom.) He makes it in there and gos pee and hes like "Look mommy i did it" I was like Just- Breath! lol

Next we walk out the bathroom after getting his pants back one. People are looking at us.The Joel decides he is going run to the front of the store. I go walking fast and jogging after him again. One lady is asking me if he is okay, im like i dont know! LOL He Finally stops at the candy stand and asks "Mommy can i have a candy" aaaah!

I was so frustrated at this point. I picked him up stuck him in the basket and when to get my grocery's. When i got there the guy who had my grocery gos, "I'm closed, you have to go over to that lady". I go over to that lady, the lady gos, "I'm closed, go to the customer service counter"..(I'm about to blow a fuse at this point!) So,why standing there i turn and looked at the guy who had my grocery's and told him what she said and well then they talked and i was able to go pay at the normal line and get out..(THANK GOD!)

By the time i made it to the truck, i was so frustrated, tried and part of me was humiliated. I called my David and said "COme Home now!"And when David made it home, he was my super hero! *smiles*

This will be one of those story's I'm going to tell Joels girlfriends when he gets older LOL

Valintines Day

I have never been really big on Valentine's day. I have often felt like its just another day stores market candy and toys and flowers and try make money off us and talk us into buying stuff we don't need.

BUT as a mom now i have learned the Holidays are what you make of them :)

So on the 14Th we just hung out at home :) I made Davids lunch the night before and sneaked a card in his lunch bag. Which he called later on saying "Thank you!"

Then, I made the boys mini cup cakes, They are the size of a quarter. So cute and yummy. I think i made 3 dozen and ate 6-7 of them lol. The boys loved them. Joel comment how he liked the pink frosting and said "Mommy pink is your favorite color." LOL

After we had cup cakes the boys made Valentine Day cards for Dad. Joel kept asking if it was someone birthday *L* I tried my best to explain today was love day and on Valentines day we try to remind your family and Friends we love them. He said "OH"....But i was sure if he got it.

Isaac did a really great job coloring in his card. He is getting really good at using color crayons. He loves making scribbles and babbling why he dose it *L*

Joel can almost write out his name.. he gets J-O- and sometimes need help with the E but always needs help with the L. Hes to did really good at his card and is getting so big!

Then on the 15Th, David decided to surprise me with flowers and candy.. It was really sweet cause we talk about not buying each other stuff. So when David brought them over to me I was already like "awww". Then David gave me a kiss and Joel was standing next to us, Joel looks up and Joel says "Mommy, we love you. Happy Valentines day!" It melted my heart and at that moment i got all the warm mommy fuzz's *L* Then, i knew he got it. He understood what mommy was trying to teach him :)

After the kids where in bed that night, DAVID COOKED FOR ME! LOL He doesn't do this fokes. He made Chocolate fondue and had fresh strawberries and wine... I'm convinced he been holding out on me *L* Na, just kidding. But it was really sweet and tasted good to. And i learned i could let my hubby in my kitchen. hehehe

Nov. to Now

So allot has happened since i last posted.. I know! I haven't been keeping up.. but here we go

Dec- Joel turned 3. We had a really good Christmas. We never made it to my parents house. The pass was covert in snow. But started off the new year well, all healthy and safe!

Jan.- I made a commitment to my self. I want to lose 50 pounds before i turn 30. So far i have lost 18 of those pounds. :) And my weeks are consisted of 3 gym days, 1 play date and 1 day just taking care of things at home. This is all going to change thou. Because in Fall Joel starts real preschool. (We been shopping for one and we think we found one.) and I am also going back to college, I am going to be taking one night class or one class online. I am going keep doing this tell the boys are in school full time. Once they are in school full time I am going to go full time. And hopefully before 6 grade i will have a job and will not need my Microsoft sugar daddy .LOL
